Chris Gheen
Chris enjoys the intellectual challenge of solving puzzles, not only for recreation but also in his professional life.
“Working with software is like a great big puzzle—you break things down into smaller pieces to come up with the answer, and then bring all those pieces back together at the end,” he says.
Chris started creating his own computer games in middle school and soon progressed to building websites. After earning his bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology, Chris joined Sitka in 2011. He is skilled at writing data structures and has experience designing applications in multiple programming languages.
Chris spends much of his free time playing video games and the tabletop fantasy battle game Warhammer. He and his wife live in Beaverton and are expecting their first child in August 2011.
