Warren Lockwood
When someone says “problem,” Warren hears “opportunity.” He brings a deep business background, clear communication style, and strong detail orientation to the process of solving customer challenges through technology.
“I listen and ask lots of questions to understand and organize what a customer wants to achieve,” he says. “What interests me are the business processes and priorities, and diving into the details. Engaging at both levels is essential in helping our programmers deliver complete solutions that make sense.”
Warren joined Sitka Technology in 2011 after 13 years as a science information manager for The Nature Conservancy (TNC). He developed and supported a multilingual conservation project planning application that enabled TNC teams throughout the world to more consistently structure conservation projects, measure their effectiveness, and share the results across TNC and with external partners.
Warren previously spent 15 years at Intel Corp., working on various financial analysis, financial management, and manufacturing product management projects. He served as manufacturing product manager for the first Intel Pentium motherboard.
Warren earned his bachelor of arts degree in history from Yale University and a master’s in business administration from Washington State University. He and his wife live on a three-acre farm outside of Hillsboro, where they enjoy raising sheep and chickens. His other interests include singing in his church choir and running.
