Brian’s rare combination of architectural expertise and business acumen are a real threat to wasteful practices lurking at client sites everywhere. “Cool projects with smart people can make for a fun career.” As the most versatile of Sitka’s Principals, Brian has led software development projects that manage federal energy efficiency investments, track regional environmental programs, and model waste management alternatives.
Brian, Matt and Keith have all worked hard on getting one simple formula to work at Sitka: interesting clients + smart employees = great projects. So far; so good. Brian earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Portland State University and was honored as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar to Konstanz, Germany.
Brian lives on the Sandy River with his wife and daughter, where he has traded in his fishing hours for exploratory hikes in the Mt. Hood National Forest. He thoroughly enjoys watching his daughter tear it up at track meets. Though Brian has finally stopped threatening a comeback run at the US Olympic Ski Team, his close proximity to Mt. Hood’s beckoning slopes is no accident.
