With Mauricio’s extensive background in economics, product management, and data analysis, he is perfectly suited for his business analyst role at Sitka. After a number of product internships and receiving his B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas in Austin, he accepted a data and artificial intelligence sales role with IBM.
During his tenure with IBM, he evaluated business needs, gathered success criteria, and designed comprehensive solutions for clients. This involved managing technical teams, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and developing client-specific strategies to ensure success.
Outside of work, Mauricio is a lover of movies (horror, indie/arthouse, and action), music (plays guitar, violin, and piano), and public speaking.
