Google Analytics Comes to ProjectFirma

With this newly released functionality, ProjectFirma admins can now leverage Google Analytics to see usage data for their individual ProjectFirma instance. This data will help them learn how people are finding their ProjectFirma site, what projects/pages are most and least popular, and how much exposure/visits their site is getting. More

Raking the Crown Jewel of Portland

Last Friday afternoon the Sitka team headed out for a volunteer event with the Forest Park Conservancy to help this organization maintain the largest forested park in the United States. The Conservancy’s mission is focused on protecting Forest Park’s ecological health while encouraging responsible recreation and safe access. We discovered that an important part of maintaining the 80 plus miles of Forest Parks’ trails during Portland’s wet winters is to keep them free of the debris and leaves which accelerate erosion. Puget Sound Partnership Makes a Splash

The Puget Sound Partnership (PSP) and their partners recently announced the launch of Puget Sound Info, an online platform for sharing information and stories about Puget Sound recovery priorities, activities, investments, near-term results, and progress toward recovery goals for the region. This is the completion of the first phase of a multi-phased roll out Sitka has been working on with PSP. More

Puget Sound Partnership Invites Partners to Collaborate on Upcoming Puget Sound Info Platform

On April 23rd, Matt and I drove up to Olympia to help the Puget Sound Partnership (PSP) conduct a partner training for the two key areas of their new Puget Sound Info platform. PSP works with over 750 partners – including government agencies, tribes, scientists, businesses, and non-profits – that contribute to the Puget Sound recovery effort. This training was an opportunity to share the new application with users and give partners the tools they need to update their data in the system prior to the public launch later this summer. More
